Google to make itself avialable at London heathrow terminal one.

Google will shortly be seen to be present on the London Heathrow Airport. Passengers awaiting their flights will be able to check their mail and send instant messages here. Called Google Space, it will be used by Google to check people's response to its product offerings. Trained google staff will be present to help people.

This is part of google's effort to test the market for making its presence felt in transport locations like Airports and railway stations.

See BBC report on this.

Flock on BBC

With its elder brother firefox getting ready for a major launch (see v1.5), kid brother Flock is also fast making its own web. BBC has this nice article which features flock and how it makes writing to the web as easy as reading off it. This post for example, has been posted under 2 minutes using Flocks post it. Sweet!

The browser called flock

I recently read of a flavour of firefox called Flock. I just downloaded and installed it. Looks great. Three of the instant hits were:

a) Integration with Flickr - my photo manager
b) Integration with Blogger - my blog(s)
c) and Integration with delicious - my bookmark manager

I am floored, to say the least! Keep watching this space for some screenshots and some more info.

IEBlog : Genuine Windows and Browsers

Looks like Microsoft is not giving up on it Genuine Advantage program. However, the encouraging this is that it has come up with a plugin for Firefox to help check it. I am glad that microsoft is considering other browsers as well.
