The latest version of Microsoft XBox - XBox 360 will be launched tonight in a broadcast on MTV. It is to be broadcast at 8pm UK Time.The new XBox is said to have been given a smoother look this time. The machine will consist of a custom-made IBM PowerPC-based 3-core chip running at 3.2GHz, supported by 512 MB RAM. The box will ship with as 12X DVD-ROM drive, 3 USB 2.0 ports, two memory unit slots and support for 4 wireless game controllers. It will also support the ability to stream media from portable devices or Windows XP PCs. on the networking side, it will also be supporting 802.11a, b and g protocols.
