IIS 7.0 takes inspiration from Apache

It seems Microsoft has finally seeing light. It has decided to adopt ideas (or what corporates prefer to best practices) from Apache server. Ideas like modular architecture (dynamically loadable modules), XML configuration (apache config) instead of its metabase changes to which take effect without restart (which has got to be a first with microsoft!), etc. Whats more, they've even acknowledged Apache for the learnings.

Anyway, i am glad M$ is moving in the right direction. I am looking forward to dissecting IIS 7.
