The makers of Xirrus Wifi arrays have recently released a version of their Wifi monitoring software for Linux desktops. It is currently available in the form of a gDesklet widget built using Python.The app has already been available for other major desktop OS-es like Windows (XP/ Vista) and OS-X for sometime now. It can be downloaded from here.
